We're hiring - Digital account handler role

lisa Lisa, 13th October 2015

Update: This position has now been filled.

We're looking for an enthusiastic web project manager / account handler to join our team. We are a small, friendly, busy agency with an exciting client list of international brand-clients, web start ups and small businesses. We build everything from simple Wordpress websites, to more complicated bespoke web applications and Facebook Apps.

The right candidate for the role will have a keen eye for detail, be conscientious with a real desire to deliver a good service, and be a clear communicator who can listen to non-technical people's requirements and then brief a designer or developer. A good phone manner and excellent written English are essential.

Tasks will include:

  • Discussing requirements with clients and briefing designers / developers
  • Ensuring projects run smoothly and keeping the client updated
  • Testing / quality checking - websites, systems, HTML emails etc.
  • Social media - for us and clients
  • Writing blog posts / press releases / whitepapers (from their research)
  • Helping with business development
  • Attending meetings, attending industry events and leading training sessions.

Although it goes without saying, a strong interest in the web is vital. You'll need to engage in projects and be comfortable suggesting solutions and ideas around usability and features, as well as conveying marketing messages.

Previous experience in this sector and a degree of 2:1 or above is desirable but not essential. Full training can be given in areas such as digital project management, social media marketing and search engine optimisation.

This is a great opportunity to get into the digital world and start or continue a career in this constantly growing area.

Salary will be dependent on skills and experience. Please contact us to apply. Please - no agencies!
