We're hiring - PHP / full stack web developer required

lisa Lisa, 21st July 2016

We're looking for a LAMP stack developer to join our team.

We're a happy, busy little agency with an exciting client list of international brand-clients, web start ups and small businesses. We build everything from simple Wordpress websites, to more complicated bespoke web applications and apps (think e-learning, payments portals, reporting tools - for clients as well as ourselves).

Knowledge of object orientated PHP, preferably using an MVC framework such as CodeIgniter is required. As is familiarity with JavaScript libraries such as JQuery and other technologies such as JSON, XML and MySQL. You'll also need to be competent with CSS3.

The right candidate for the role will have a keen eye for detail, be conscientious with a real desire to deliver a good service whilst managing their own time and deadlines. They must be happy working on their own, or as part of a team. All code produced must be tidy and organised, and delivered with a considered yet pragmatic approach. Knowledge of GIT versioning and Linux systems administration, as well as Amazon Web Services is a bonus. A good phone manner and excellent written English are also essential.

Finally, although it goes without saying, a strong interest in the web is vital - we're a team who are passiionate about the Internet and all that it offers the world! You'll need to fully engage in projects and be comfortable suggesting solutions and ideas around usability and features.

Salary will be dependent on skills and experience. Please contact us with your CV and some examples of your work.

Please please pretty please - no agencies! :)
