We were asked by Explore Ireland Tours to create a custom built website for their venture. The website which went live in May 2011, has some rather advanced features such as a holiday booking system allowing customers to choose where and when they hop on and off of tours, checking availability as it goes! You can even join one tour part way through and join up with another tour if another is running straight aftwards!
The site has detailed lists of all the trips available, with route specific maps to give added information to the viewer. It also has a bespoke CMS which means that Explore Ireland Tours can easily manage their website. It gives them the ability to upload images, maps, and PDFs, as well as letting them manage and view routes, tours and bookings which are paid for via Paypal. There's even an inhouse affiliate programme and voucher code system.
The pages are all SEO friendly, with unique content for every tour and keyword rich search engine friendly URLs. For added SEO benefit, there's also a customised Wordpress blog.
