South Bristol Riverscapes needed a website that themselves and member of the public could update with resources from rivers in South Bristol.
We devised a site which very easily allows logged in visitors to click on a map, and upload a resource (photo, link to video, sound file, album or pdf). Regular visitors then see a dragonfly on the map showing the location of a resource. Clicking the dragonfly reveals more information about that particular part of the river.
The highly specific requirements of this project meant our solution was custom built to suit the brief and make full use of the wonderful imagery we were given by a local artist. The site runs on a PHP/MySQL backend and also features a news system, calendar or events, river groups directory and content management system.
