MuchBetterAdventures.com launches in Beta.

lisa Lisa, 16th October 2009

This has been a big project for 18a, and we're really thrilled for Alex and Ed from Much Better Travel Ltd that their site has gone live. I'm also pleased to be able to unveil the design at last, as we really love the photography we sourced with the guys for it. At the moment the site doesn't have any adventure holidays or green tour operators on it (give it chance, it only went live today) but it's still packed full of useful guides and information that the guys have been busy packing into the SimpleCMS. muchbetteradventures.com allows adventure sports fans to search by a long list of criteria (with the built in functionality of this being even more advanced in the future) to find the trip that's exactly right for them. Holiday makers can leave reviews of trips they've been on and use the messaging system to enquire about others. Meanwhile holiday companies can apply to be featured on the site - but only once they've been vetted for their green credentials by the muchbetter team can their listings go live on the site. They can then add various listings depending on their selected package, auto fill holidays from similar listings they've already placed (that's a favourite bit of ours!), and input their news via an RSS feed aggregator for all visitors to the site to see. There's even a section for special offers so companies can push their last minute deals. There are lots more features planned for the site, which only promotes the holidays run by environmentally aware companies, so stay tuned! muchbetteradventures.com by 18a productions
