Our new website goes live!

lisa Lisa, 7th April 2015

We took advantage of a few days off over Easter to set our new website live.

Our Techincal Director, Tom Freeman, has been busy building our new site whilst I myself have been flat out making all the new portfolio images (it had been so long since we'd updated our portfolio, we've been so busy!). Behind the scenes the CMS is largely the same and our site still has lots of business management tools such as an invoicing system and client CRM but the front end has been transformed!

We know people liked our old site - and it gained us a lot of work. But we felt it was time for a refresh. Plus the company is in such a different place since that site went live - 18a was Tom and I working from home, but now we have a suite of offices and a growing team!

Retaining the site's presence in Google was essential so we made sure that the new design allowed for all the interlinking and services descriptions that the old site had. Meanwhile our old site was responsive - we gave it a responsive facelift a year or so ago - but this site is fully adaptively responsive with lots of consideration given to which features should show, and how they should look, for lots of different sized devices.

There are still a few tweaks we want to make to spacing and wording - your own work is always the hardest to do - but we hope you like it!
