Digital Designer job vacancy nr. Bristol and Weston-Super-Mare

lisa Lisa, 17th January 2017

We're looking for an enthusiastic, bright, hard working designer to join our busy little agency to cover our existing Designer's maternity leave (and who knows beyond that).

Based in Winscombe (BS25) nestled in the Mendips between Bristol, Weston-Super-Mare, and Cheddar, we make websites for international organisations, tech start ups, and all types of businesses inbetween! Jodie, who you'd be covering for, currently works Mon-Fri 9.15-3.15 to fit around the school run, so if you're the right candidate but need flexible working hours, that's can quite likely be accommodated. We'd love you to start ASAP.

The right candidate for this job would be conscientious, quick to understand a brief and understand a client's requirements, a whizz at PhotoShop (if you know Illustrator that'd be a bonus), have a super keen eye for detail, and be intune with UX. Rather than just a pretty picture, our designs need to be easy to use, thought through for all devices and usually search engine optimised. The client's marketing message needs to shine through. If you can code too that'd be a fantastic bonus.

To work here you need a strong passion for the web - we love to help nurture that and give you experienced guidance and support to move forward with your career. You'd have regular reviews and one-to-one catch ups. We also try to get out of the office at least once a month - even if it's just a breakfast meeting - so as to keep ideas flowing and creativity high!

If you think you've got what it takes, please get in touch with some examples of your design work and a CV (make contact to get an email address).
