Hi,
Hope you had a great weekend? We hosted a birthday party for our 12 year old – let me tell you 4 tweenage (not a typo) boys playing Settlers of Catan is a LOT calmer and easier than 15 girls having a K-Pop kitchen disco (the last party we hosted).
This week is all about making sure you’re making the most of what you’ve already got.
First step: Look in Google Analytics and see which are your most visited pages. You can watch my video on how to do this here.
Once you’ve done that, see if you can make any improvements to it, based on everything we’ve talked about over the last few weeks:
1) Add client reviews / testimonials, if it’d suit the page.
2) Add FAQs, ideally in structured data.
3) Add any other useful information the page might be lacking – remember alsoasked.com is your friend here (quick video on what alsoasked.com is).
3) Check there’s a clear call to action (CTA) or way to contact you from that page.
And then, something which I’m not sure we’ve talked about yet….
Link to it from other pages of your website.
Find other blog posts on the topic and link the actual powerful keywords from that post to this post/page.
You’ll be sending signals to robots that this is where it’s at – this page, which is doing so well for you, is a really important page for people to visit.
Be careful not to disrupt what’s already on the page – it’s working well at the moment as a way of bringing people into your site and you want to enhance it, not ruin that.
It’s currently bringing people in – you want it to work a little harder at that, AND work harder at converting those people once they arrive.

Love a good before and after!
