Hi,
I hope you’re having a good week so far? Our kids have gone back to school, the last one today, so it’s officially the start of a new term.
We got married in September. And we started 18a in September. Tom’s always felt September feels like a great time to start something new – because of that ingrained childhood pattern of starting a new school year in September. (That’s when we start in the UK – I know it can be earlier in the US.)
This week personally I’m planning my next couple of months of events and talks that I’m going to do.
So I thought this week, full of “fresh start” and “catch up” energy, was a good one to do a broad review of your website.
Soon many of you will be gearing up for Black Friday, and Christmas (if you’re not already), so you want to make sure everything’s in tip top shape.
If you haven’t before, go and run an audit of your site at sitevitals.co.uk – it’ll tell you what you need to improve for SEO, AI visibility, speed, security and more. It’s totally free (and it’s our tool so I know it really is totally free).
If you have used it before, I’m afraid there is a charge to re-run an audit (and then that audit is run continuously for you in the background and you’re alerted if there’s something you need to know about), but use the code LAUNCH75 for it to be just £4.75 a month.
Grab a template
If you’re not in a spending mood, then there’s still an important audit you can do this week for free – either grab my 3rd Parties Audit template or if you use WordPress, my WordPress Plugin Audit template. (Or grab both.)
Just make a copy of the doc (so it’s your own copy) and fill it in – and that’ll let you see if there are any subscriptions you can stop paying for, or any plugins you can remove to help your site speed.
Have a good week and speak soon,
Lisa
