Hi,

Firstly a massive πŸ‘‹ hello! to all the new faces here in the last couple of weeks – I’m pretty much recovered from my busy week of Masterclasses and talks last week!

I hope you had a lovely weekend? I think I’m mainly recovered thanks to the sunshine, and 2 days in a row with a quick visit to the beach. 2026 will be the year I make the most of living near the seaside. πŸ’ͺ

We also had a Crumble Bake Off yesterday – I was the judge. We had Rhubarb crumble tart which came to Tom in a dream and was the inspiration for the whole thing, and apple crumble cookies, apple crumble cup cakes and strawberry crumble and ice cream cake by the kids. The latter πŸ“πŸ° was the hands down winner.

The 1 thing you need to do this week…

(If you’ve done this already – pat yourself on the back and go out and enjoy the sunshine 🌞)

Last week my talks were mainly about Google’s March updates and general recaps on getting found by AI.

πŸ‘‰ Watch a replay here.
And drop me an email if you want the slides.

In the Masterclass, I talked about how to structure your content for AI.

So you should absolutely watch my masterclass but ALSO, we’ve got a free audit tool you can run any web page through to see if you’re feeding the machine(s) what they want.

  1. Click hereΒ and enter the URL you want to check
  2. Enter your email address when asked and click on the button in the email you’re sent
  3. Click on SEO box, or the ✨ tab
  4. Once the report has finished generating, read it all for lots of useful info, but for AI structure specifically, scroll down to the section called “Content Extractability” and give it a read.

(Running this report will give you reports for all areas of your site for free, and ongoing uptime monitoring.)

You should check the URL of any page you’d want AI to mention… and this might not be your home page.

AI wants short sharp useful paragraphs, and summaries, and your own experience…

If your home page is set up for a certain sort of conversion, don’t be afraid to optimise other pages for AI and leave your home page selling as it is.

Without wishing to sound like a broken record, watch my masterclass to hear what you need to write.
And read this blog post by Tom about what the Content Extractability report measures and why.

Once you’ve got your audit, make whatever easy tweaks it suggests –
or drop me an email back if you’re in a quandary about anything it tells you.

Speak soon,

Lisa
