Hi,
> Google’s going all in on AI
> What you need to check on your website for AI to trust you
If you haven’t heard, Google are going all in on AI, starting… well, any day now.
AI answers taking over search results, interactive experiences to explain the answers you’re looking for, and the ability to create your own dashboards and agents to watch and fetch updates for you by summer.
It actually made me start my podcast early – I wasn’t going to start it for a couple of months but I found I had a LOT to say about this – so my first 14 minute episode (with bad sound – sorry – it’ll be better next time) is here on YouTube or here on Spotify. (I’m working on Apple.)
So what can you do about it?
Well a good start would be to watch the Masterclass I gave on Thursday – about how to become a company AI trusts and refers to time and time again.
And/or, you should go through your website and check you’re consistent.
Are your service pages all relevant? Does your about page reflect how long you’ve been in business – or does it cite a number of years that’s out of date?
Are your prices up to date? And your menus? Just generally is your positioning consistent with what you’re trying to be known for now in 2026?
If not, make a list of what you need to change. And schedule some time to update it.
(I mentioned in the talk that I’m going to put together some ways for smaller businesses to work on the “corroboration” angle of getting AI to love you – so stay tuned for those.)
Sorry that this may be a time consuming task – you don’t need to do it this week, just make the list of what you need to do, and chip away at it a little over the next few weeks.
On that note, I’ll leave you to it, and to our UK heatwave. 🙌🕶️🌞 I hope you had a wonderful bank holiday weekend, we were in a very busy Devon, but it was lovely.
Speak soon,
Lisa
