18a win Netty 2024 award for Activibees.com

We are delighted to announce that 18a has been recognised for its outstanding work in the "Web Design Agency of the Year - UK" category at the 2024 Netty Awards.

It was our work on Activibees.com, our inhouse "things to do" platform, that earned us this prestigious award.

The Netty Awards celebrate achievements in the digital landscape, honoring top companies and leaders across more than 100 distinct categories. Netty Awards recipients are selected based on a number of factors including creativity, technical proficiency, innovation, and overall excellence in the respective field.

Activibees.com revolutionises the experience of discovering and engaging in activities by seamlessly merging both real-life and online experiences on a singular platform. Unlike traditional event aggregators or social media platforms, Activibees redefines the way people explore 'things to do' by combining a diverse array of activities, from physical events like wine tastings at vineyards to immersive at-home experiences such as book writing masterclasses. This novel design approach addresses the fragmented nature of activity discovery, creating a cohesive and inclusive platform. Visitors can also carry out just one search to find permanent “things to do” or short term events, on a date and in a location that suits them, rather than – as with other offerings in this sphere – needing to do multiple searches across multiple websites.

Meanwhile Activibees empowers businesses to share real-time updates about their listings to their Followers. This feature ensures timely and accurate information for users, enhancing UX, as well as fostering trust and credibility between leisure providers and their audience.
