Corals is a revolutionary new system to let organisations with historic archives make those archives available to the public. A stock photography site on the surface, Corals started with The Library of Birmingham's digital archive of thousands of photos which were examined by real people and keyword tagged and categorised.

The original Corals platform allowed for multiple clients to all use the one central Corals code base so that the single website could become a library of archives from all over the world. As years have gone by, Corals have adapted their business model slightly to allow different clients to have their own Corals installation and bespoke features. This means each client site has it's own branding, and features such as online print ordering with Stripe payments or different rules around downloading.
